Wire jigs use accurately placed pins or guides, allowing you to reproduce perfect shapes in wire. The wire shapes you can make are limitless... derive inspiration from Celtic, Egyptian and Aztech linear patterns or make eye-catching modern shapes using geometric designs.

This short course is a module of the JDMIS Advanced Certificate in Jewellery Fabrication using Thread and Wire. For information about how this course fits into a complete jewellery education, visit our Continuing Education Roadmap
In this short workshop you will learn to use the WigJig Olympus Lite making easy, fast and accurate wire shapes to incorporate in your creations. Make your own bracelet or necklace components during the workshop and learn about clasp and earring hook techniques in the skill demonstrations. Also see the different types of designs you can make using other WigJigs and Jig add-ons. These skills will add a new dimension to the jewellery-making techniques you already enjoy. This 2-hour module is a part of the Professional Certificate in Advanced Thread & Wire Jewellery Design. Advanced Thread & Wire Jig Work
